On the 19th of June more than 50 companies will be there for you to explore on campus of the Otto-von-Guericke university. Moreover, this event is going to show you, why staying here actually makes a lot of sense and that there’s more to discover everyday. From 11AM to 5PM, you'll have the chance to get in touch with the businesses that surround you in person and not just via email and get to know them on a chill level. That day really is all about feeling good and meeting people you want to potentially work with.

Wether you need an internship, want to work a side job while studying or have just graduated and now want to enter the job world. All of you are welcome to explore the global thinking companies of Saxony-Anhalt and see what they have to offer for you. Those companies range from economy, society and technology to science and computer science, so whatever you're looking for, we mostly likely have the right job and field for you.
The fun thing about JOBS HERE though is that you won’t just get to know the people there like you would in a job interview. All the firms will provide something fun for you at their stands. So if you want to play basketball with your future colleagues or even want to play a round of beer pong with your potential boss, go ahead and come visit!
International activities just for you
Third time’s a charm and so we thought for this year there’ll be lots of fun and also meaningful activities and talks for you.
For instance, there is going to be a panel revolving about how to enter the german job market, which will help you find out what you need to look out for and what's so special about that market, so that you can get the job of your dreams! You can obviously ask all of your questions or just listen, however you prefer. Moreover you can visit a talk about "HOW TO JOBS HERE". You'll find out what companies are waiting especially for you Internationals and English-speaking people and how you'll convince every company. The British flags in the site plan will show you, which firms are ready for you and your skills, but don't hesitate to also talk to stands, that don't present the flag.
3 tips for preparation
Join the panels
Catch the "HOW TO JOBS HERE" talks on the main stage at 11 am and 2:20 pm. These sessions will offer an overview of the JOBS HERE festival area and highlight companies with a strong interest in international talent. Just stick around for 10 minutes.
Short introduction
Prepare 2-3 sentences about yourself, preferably in German if possible. Introduce yourself, mention your field of study, and outline your desired job. This helps to make a great first impression on the company.
Pre-screen companies
Several companies provide assistance with visa applications and offer tailored programs for their international staff. This support can be invaluable as you embark on your career in Saxony-Anhalt. Check in advance which companies will be involved.
